The Sintra tour will show you one of the most iconic places in Portugal, that was for a very long time a sanctuary for the Portuguese Royal family. After this breathtaking visit follow to one of the most surprising Sintra’s monuments The Quinta da Regaleira located on the outskirts of the town, built in the last days of the Portuguese monarchy.

In the middle of the romanticism you can find the Moorish Castle dating back to the 8th century.

After descending the hill to discover the village and eat the traditional “travesseiro de sintra” you’ll visit the Monserrate Palace , built in 1858 by Sir Francis Cook, Viscount of Monserrate. In the surrounding gardens you can find over 3,000 exotic species thanks to the microclimate of the mountains.

Pass by the National Sintra Palace and, before lunch, stop in Cabo da Roca , 150 meters above the sea, where you can have a panoramic view over the Hill of Sintra and the coast.

We recommend you lunch in Guincho , fresh seafood with a sea view. After, follow to the Cascais Village , visit the marina and a have a walk in this ancient fisherman’s village.

In the return to Lisbon you’ll pass by Estoril through the Marginal, a seaside road that will let you assimilate the blue of the Atlantic Ocean with the green of the Sintra Hill, that deserves to be immortalized in your mind.
